Sunday: embarking in the morning in Plataria, a quiet marina located 10 kilometers south of Igoumenitsa, welcome drink, accommodation in cabins and then food shopping for the week. Acclimatization and familiarization with the equipment and instruments on board to become familiar with the boat and the sea, then out for the first sail and cruise to Sivota, a charming little island in front of Corfu.Dinner and overnight stay in a lonely and quiet bay.
Monday: take a swim in the bay-pool and transfer to Mourtos, sailing south in a calm sea, stop for a swim in a protected bend and harbor in Parga, a small and picturesque town rich in history and dominated by the imposing walls of a Venetian castle. We'll spend here the first warm night of the holiday or in a quiet cove half a mile more south.
Tuesday: sail south towards Amoudia at the mouth of the mythical Acheron, known as the river of the underworld. Here you can swim in the bay and there's also the possibility to rent a boat, to penetrate the interior of the mouth and up the river for many miles. Dinner and overnight.
Wednesday: morning dedicated to the discovery of the island of Antipaxo, almost completely covered with vines: the perfect haven for those in search of solitude, calm and serenity. After stopping for lunch, a swim and some relax we sail to Paxo: the east part has a charming view with old olive trees with gnarled trunks, dry-stone terraces, abandoned mills and farms in ruins, while the western part is famous for its cliffs 200 meters off the sea, deep caves inhabited by monk seals, the cliff Mongonisi that faces Antipaxo and the pools of the gods. Night in Meganisi, on the south of the island. Dinner, fire games and Sirtaki altogether. Possibility of visiting Porto Gaio, the Portofino of Ionian Greece, a little Venice enclosed by the mountains, protected by the fortress of the island of St. Nicholas. Here you can rent a scooter for a fun tour of the island.
Thursday: continue navigating towards north to reach Lakka, a coastal village which is situated on a bay sheltered from the wind. Before docking stop for a swim along the east coast of Paxos.
Friday: sail to Corfu: now you too can say what the bishop Liutprand said in 968 ... ad Coriphus pervenimus. Latest hot night of debauchery in the city.
Saturday: you are heading to Plataria where we find the time for the last bath before disembarking in the early afternoon.
